Men get penis enlargement for a variety of reasons. Some want to perform better in bed, while others want to improve their physical appearance and gain more confidence. How is this procedure actually done, and is it really worth it? Demystifying the multi-billion-dollar penis enlargement industry with Daniel Weinberg is Dr. Joel Pash. He talks about his non-surgical procedure that increases penis girth using hyaluronic acid, which greatly minimizes side effects and ensures low-pain recovery. Dr. Joel also shares positive patient feedback about penis enlargement, how long the fillers typically last, and how much money you need to prepare if you choose to undergo this procedure.

Dr. Joel Pash – An Insight Into The Penis Enlargement Industry; Is Big Really Better?

In this episode, we talk penis enlargements with Dr. Pash. Mens Anonymous.

Dr. Pash, it’s so good to have you on the show.

Thanks for having me. I am excited to be here.

We’re getting to talk about an interesting topic. We’re talking about penises and how to make them bigger, which seems to be something that troubles men in terms of physical appearance, performance, etc. It’s something that we all grew up with. A lot of men have insecurities around it, comparing and contrasting others, and getting validation from their partners. When we spoke, what was interesting was that there was a news item that came out, which I’m going to read to you about. It is on the other side of the spectrum. This is about Haley Kalil, who is an influencer in the US. She tied the knot with American footballer Matt Kalil back in 2015. They got divorced in 2022.

She opened up about her reasons for the split, which awkwardly included the size of the offensive tackle’s member. To indicate how well-endowed he is, the social media staff flung her forearm onto the table in the interview that she did. She insisted that it was the biggest factor in their getting a divorce. She said, “We tried it all, therapists, doctors, not even lying. We even looked up how to do lipo-type shit. That’s why it’s funny. It’s like my life is a comedy, and it writes itself. We’ve tried impossible, unless you’re going to be in tears.” The model said the former athlete’s penis was like 0.01% of the population, and that it was impossible to have sexual intercourse.

Most Common Reasons Why Men Get Penis Enlargement

“That’s why I can’t put it on the internet. We tried it all,” she said. “He was like two Coke cans on top of each other, maybe even a third.” He’s ripped it out, and she’s gone, “You’re not putting that thing inside of me.” You deal with the other side of the spectrum. It seems like there are men out there who are on the other side of the distribution curve. They come to you for a number of reasons. I would love to dive right in and try and understand what this industry is blowing up. I read that the value of the industry now in the US is something like $7.5 billion in terms of the money that is spent on penis enlargements. I’m going to ask you. In your opinion, why do men primarily come to you for penis enhancements?

It’s not always that they’re small. It certainly can be. A lot of times, guys are curious. That would be the main reason. As you alluded to, there are different reasons. Some people are small. I have people who are in the realm of the football player who need it bigger.

Have you seen that football player’s size? Do you have men come in and say, “I want to get bigger in there,” and you’re like, “I don’t think you need to put any more size on that thing?”

Mens Anonymous | Dr. Joel Pash | Penis Enlargement

I’ve had several guys that are like two Coke cans on top of each other, maybe not three. Are we talking about vertically on top of each other or the circumference of two?

Let’s go back to the standard Coke can, not the new long, thin ones.

What is it, 355 milliliters?

Yes, the standard Coke can, which is quite wide in terms of girth.

I believe it’s about 7 1/4 inches or something like that, if I recall. How do I know that?

Are you talking about the height?

No, I’m talking about the circumference around it. When she was talking about Coke cans, she was talking about circumference, and then another one.

She’s talking about one on top of the other. It is length. She put a forearm on the table, so it’s long. The circumference is wide.

I have a picture that one of my patients sent me, and granted it was after the procedure. It was like a monster can or one of those things. For illustration, he had a picture of his unit, and then he had a picture of a monster can. They’re pretty close.

Why? Explain to me. Is this something you think that men want because they feel insecure about the appearance of their penis? Do you think it’s something that their partners are asking of them to bring to the bedroom?

I think 99% of the time, it’s not the partner. Whether it’s insecurity, that’s sometimes certainly the case. Sometimes the case, though, is that rather than insecurity, it’s curiosity. In fact, I would say that’s more common. A lot of times, for the guys, the story will be like, “My wife had a procedure done. I was looking at this, or I heard of someone who did this. I was curious how this would go for me. How would life be different if I had this? I’ve always been thinking about doing a cosmetic thing. This is the thing.” Certainly, some guys have some insecurity. Some guys are small. Honestly, I would say most cases are neither of those.

99% of the time, it is not the female partner who wants a penis enlargement. It is mostly driven by men’s insecurity and curiosity. Share on X

What are most cases? How would you describe most cases?

Most cases are just a guy who is probably normal. By definition, most people are average. It’s usually a guy who is average who says, “I thought I’d get this done because maybe it will make things better.” That’s not to say that things aren’t good. Maybe it would improve the bedroom or whatever it is.

Is it the aesthetic they’re going for? Is the driver the aesthetic, or the sexual performance?

I think it’s both. There are various reasons. The easy thing that people always think about is that it must be guys who are small. I make it bigger. It must be small guys. They come in. I just make it bigger. That’s the obvious thing that it would be, but it’s not actually the case. There are all kinds of reasons that are less obvious, like what we covered.

How The Penis Enlargement Process Is Done

Just to make it clear for the reader, the procedure itself, which you’re going to go in and talk about, is not lengthening the penis. It’s widening the penis. Is that correct?

Correct.

Do you get it all in the process or not really?

A lot of times, you can get some flaccid length. It’s heavier. There’s more stuff in it. It hangs down lower. There’s a little bit of it being also longer because of less shrinkage, because we’re putting material in there that almost causes a scaffolding-type effect that surrounds it, so that it can’t shrink as much.

If you go in the cold water after your procedure, you won’t get the same aftereffect.

From our earlier discussion, that could be a reason why people get this done. There’s this whole laundry list. It’s like, “My length is perfectly fine. It’s too thin, or I’ve shrinkage. I don’t like it when people see that,” or whatever the reason is.

They talk about shower and grower, like, “I’m a grower, not a shower.” You’re saying that if I were to get the procedure, it would be hanging there the whole time.

It would probably be better. There’s a standing discount for any podcasters. I’m not sure how many have taken me up on that yet, but we can discuss. The lengthening thing, the analogy I give is if you want to make your leg longer, that would be difficult to do, but it would be pretty easy to make it thicker. You just make it fatter.

Mens Anonymous | Dr. Joel Pash | Penis Enlargement

That’s what you’re doing. You’re effectively making the penis fatter. You’re going to talk about the procedure. You’re effectively making it fatter by filling it up.

Right, by filling it with filler. That is why it’s called filler, because it fills stuff. The difference is that the filler we use needs to be of a certain consistency and a certain hardness. We don’t want to use filler that has a consistency of fat, because then you have a mushy penis. We want filler that is the right amount of firmness so that it looks and feels as normal as possible.

I went to your website, which you’ll talk about later as well. You’ve got a gallery which shows the before and afters. I was curious what exactly is going on here. What is the effect when you have erections? When you have an erection, all the blood flows to your penis, and it gets hard. Given that you’re putting this material in this filler, and it’s a foreign part of the penis, it’s not like it goes soft and hard. It’s an artificial compound or whatever material that you put in there. It’s not changing form or anything all the time. How does it work with an erection?

It changes form a little bit because the filler integrates with the tissue over time. There is some rigidity to it for sure. When we first inject it, it goes in like a gel. It’s a distinctly different material from the penis tissue. Over time, it almost becomes part of the penis. It gets a vasculature that grows around it. It becomes integrated into the tissue, the skin, and stuff like that. Over time, it will contract and expand to a certain extent.

We’ll talk about this as well. Compared to some of the surgical procedures where they do actually put in a rigid foreign body into the penis, because of the way that filler integrates into the tissue, it makes it more of an ideal procedure. The point you bring up is a problem in general with putting stuff in something that shrinks and expands all the time.

How Dr. Pash Got Into The Penis Enlargement Industry

First, I want to hear how you got into the penis enlargement game. What drew you to the penis? After that, I want you to talk me through how the actual procedure works, the recovery, and if there’s any pain or whatever. I want to hear about patient feedback on sexual performance and those things, and how long this lasts. How often do you have to do this? A filler, as I understand, is something that has a duration, breaks down, and then needs to be redone. Let’s start with how long you’ve been in the penis game for and what drew you to it.

I’m coming on four years now. I started medical school in 2006. I finished residency in 2011. Medicine, for a lot of readers, or you may know, has been going through some changes over that time frame. Doctors are getting paid less and working more. More is expected of them. There is less appreciation for the typical things that we do. At some point, I decided to try and find some things in medicine, but there were not the typical traditional things that I was already doing. What you realize is that if you have a medical degree and you decide, “How do I switch careers?” for example, it’s pretty hard to do.

You put in all this training. It doesn’t make any sense to switch from medicine to law, for example, because now you’ve got to put in another ten years or whatever. The path I came down was, “I have this medical degree. What can I do with it that’s different than what I’m already doing?” I looked at a lot of different cosmetic options, which is fairly common. If the doctor is going to try to find something else to do, cosmetics is where they go. In that process, I met a marketing guy. He was the one who told me about this procedure. I’d never heard of it. I never thought about doing anything on a penis or any of that.

Coming across you is the first time I’ve heard about this procedure. It’s a large industry. I knew about procedures like what you described before, with regard to when you put a medical device on it. My understanding is that it’s predominantly for those who have erectile dysfunction. It’s not done as much for superficial or aesthetic reasons. It’s done more for people who have issues with their penis.

The common implants are for ED. Those are the FDA-approved. A urologist does it. Insurance pays for it. As you pointed out, they’re not for size at all. They’re purely for ED. They’re quite invasive surgeries. They’re a big deal. The reason I say that is because it’s not for everyone who has ED. It needs to be pretty bad for you to be getting one of those. They do work. People are happy with those. There are some implants out there that are much less commonly used, mostly because they’re not for a medical problem. It’s cosmetics. They’re not insured.

To be perfectly honest, they’re a lot more risky and dangerous than those implantable bumps are for ED. There are ones that are meant for size, but certainly less common. Ninety-nine out of a hundred would be for ED. That’s why you’ve heard of those. Let’s back up. You asked me how I got into it. I found out about it through this guy. The first thing I did was go to my wife. I said, “What do you think about this?” To be honest, I didn’t want to look at a bunch of penises.

At the time when you’re starting to do this, it’s hard to wrap your head around that. I asked my wife, “Jen, can you look into this for me?” She goes on the internet and looks at a bunch of before-and-afters. She goes, “Yes, it looks like it’s actually pretty legit.” The two of us decided, “This looks real.” One of the things, when you’re a doctor, especially in cosmetics, that you want to do is do something real. It’s not a scam, and it actually works. That’s how I found out about it. I went and got trained. There’s quite a bit of demand for it. Within six months, I was doing a lot of procedures.

How Anesthesia Is Administered During Penis Enlargement

Is the procedure itself under a general or local anesthetic?

No, it’s fully local anesthesia.

The man is completely awake when this happens. Do you give them a needle locally to anesthetize the area?

Yes. It’s easier than going to the dentist. The reason it’s easier is that you can talk to me and I can talk to you. The dentist is a one-way conversation. The numbing doesn’t work that well for dentists. At least in my experience on when we numb the penis, it works perfectly. Patients come in. We do numbing. Of course, that stings a little bit.

Are these micro needles for the anesthetic?

You just numb the skin.

With an Emla cream or with needling?

With the needle. We don’t use Emla because it takes a long time for it to work, and it’s not super effective. It’s a lot more effective to get it over with. It’s a little tiny 30-gauge needle. Let’s get it over with. It will numb it. It’ll be done in five seconds. You don’t feel anything after that. You’re better off doing that than putting on Emla and having someone wait for 45 minutes for it to work, thinking about this for that long, when you could have done the whole thing.

The filler itself is what?

It’s a hyaluronic acid filler, at least the filler that we use is. There are other types of fillers, but we use hyaluronic acid, which is the same as lip filler. A lot of men will have wives or partners who have had filler put in their lips, or they’re somewhere else in their face. It’s the same stuff. I should say the base chemical compound is the same and that it’s hyaluronic acid. Within fillers, there are different firmnesses, duration of effect, and stuff like that. We’re trying to use one that probably has slightly different consistency than what a lip feels like.

How many needles do you generally have with the filler? It’s micro needling, in effect, isn’t it?

To numb the average penis, it’s probably six injections. After that, there are another six injections of the filler. That makes it sound easy. Six injections make it sound like it takes one minute or 30 seconds per injection or something. I should say six little needle holes. Once the needle is in, then you have to do some stuff in there with a needle to put it all in the right place. In reality, it takes 45 minutes or so, even though there are only six injection points.

Why Dr. Pash’s Penis Enlargement Method Is Different From The Rest

Are there any side effects?

Not really. It is a medical procedure.

Does a man feel any pain after the procedure? Does he walk out, and he gets an erection? Is it perfect from straight up? Does he have to move the filler around so it evens out, and it’s smooth?

All good questions. That’s insightful. It does not typically hurt afterward. There’s some bruising, swelling, and stuff like that. It’s not any worse pain than if you get a vaccine injection, and your arm hurts afterward because there was a needle in there. There is some pain, but it’s not anything that requires medications, a prescription, or anything like that. Guys typically go back to work right away. I’ve even had guys come on a lunch break. They get it done, and then they go right back to driving a forklift or whatever it is that they do.

It’s a pretty benign procedure in that sense. There are a bunch of different techniques for injecting filler in the penis specifically. The one that Upsize does and that I do is unique in that it’s different than the typical technique that most doctors do. It’s something that we invented based on experience, based on doing a lot of these. The way we do it, the filler doesn’t tend to migrate. It usually actually looks good after. To your question, you said you have to mold it. Do you have to smooth it out or something like that?

I’m asking you to describe them. When they go home, do they have to masturbate to smooth and make it all even?

Some techniques do require that. That can be a downside for a lot of techniques because you can inject filler in there. You tell the patient, “Go home, and you’ve got to do this, this, and this,” and then it doesn’t look good. Whose fault was that? Was it that I didn’t inject it well? Over time, we’ve developed a way that minimizes the need for that. For any readers who are thinking about doing this, probably the main benefit of seeing one of the Upsize doctors is that they’ve had this training on how to do this technique, which, to my knowledge, at least, is not the standard way to do it. It’s unlikely that any other doctor is doing it this way.

Can you describe it?

If you look at the anatomy of the penis, if you start from the outside and you go in, the outermost layer is skin. That’s obvious. There’s a layer on the inside of the skin called the dartos fascia. If someone thinks of fascia, when you look at a piece of meat, it’s like the white stuff that’s separated.

It’s the layer on top of the muscle, right?

Yes, exactly. It’ll separate two muscle layers. Unlike the meat that you buy in the store, it’s usually a thin white membrane. In this case, fascia can be on the skin or on anything. There’s no muscle in the penis.

There is no muscle in the penis?

Not in the actual penis. There are obviously muscles that attach to the penis. In the actual shaft of the penis, there’s no muscle.

Describe what’s in the penis.

You got the skin. You got the dartos fascia, which is attached to the skin. To someone feeling it, it feels like skin. On the other side of that, there’s what we call in medicine a potential space. If you take the skin on your arm, on your penis, or anything, pull it up, and tent it, there’s space under there. You could inject something in there. That would fill that space, even though that space doesn’t exist.

Is that what you’re doing? Are you pulling it up and then filling it up?

Not exactly, but yes, that would be one way to do it. It’s just not the way we do it, but that would be a way to get filler in there. You have this potential space, then you have something called Buck’s fascia, which is another fascial layer. You have the corpus cavernosum, which is the functional part of the penis where the blood goes in and gives you an erection. In there, there are a couple of veins, arteries, and the urethra.

The technique for injecting filler is usually going in between Buck’s fascia and dartos fascia. That’s the space that you talked about. If you were to lift the skin, and you inject in that space, that would be generally the space. The issue is that if you inject it in there, the filler can move around after. As the skin moves around, the filler can move around. We found after doing a lot of these that it’s possible to inject in between the skin and the dartos fascia, which is actually a space that doesn’t exist until we inject filler in it.

When we inject the filler in that space, because the space wasn’t originally there, it’s a tight space when the filler is in there. Because it’s tight, the filler doesn’t have the ability to move around. It stays there. That’s the secret. A lot of people think that if it’s injected deeper, it would be better. These layers that we’re talking about are all fractions of a millimeter thick. It’s not a matter of deeper is better and shallower is worse. It’s just finding that exact right space where, if you find that space, the filler stays where you want it to stay.

How Penis Enlargement Affects Sexual Performance

Talk me through sexual performance. What’s the feedback you got from your patient? The penis has a lot of nerves. There’s a lot of sensitivity. With patient feedback, have you had that they last longer, they feel like they’re satisfying their partner more, or they feel more satisfied? What’s the general feedback that you’ve heard with regard to the impact of the procedure, if there is any at all, on sexual performance?

Everyone is happy with a sexual performance. That gets it done. It’s twofold. Essentially, you have a bigger thing filling the space, so the partner feels it more. You feel it more because your sensation is obviously going to be more if it’s bigger in the same space. The more your skin feels, the better. It’s like driving a bus down the hallway versus a hot dog down the hallway or something like that for the analogy that we’ve heard before. The partner feels it more. The person who got the procedure feels it more. It doesn’t affect sensation per se because we’re going underneath the skin. The nerves are in the skin.

Could you cause any nerve damage with the procedure?

You could. Anytime you do a medical procedure, an injection, a surgery, or anything, you could for sure cause nerve damage, but it’s rare. I’ve never seen that happen. I’ve done well over 1,000 or maybe even 1,500 of these. I’ve never had anyone say that they had a worse sensation after. When you do surgery, you cause nerve damage all the time because you actually cut the skin. When you cut skin, you cut right through nerves.

When penis enlargement is done surgically, you could get nerve damage. When you inject fillers instead, you can greatly lessen the risks of negative side effects. Share on X

When you put needles in, though, even if you were to damage a nerve, these are micro nerves. We’re talking about tens of thousands all over the skin and your penis. The worst you would damage is probably something the size of the actual needle hole, versus if you have surgery. For example, I had surgery on my neck years ago. To do the surgery, they cut right here. Now, I can’t feel anything on my neck. On the penis, clearly, you don’t want that. If it’s a needle, then you’re fine.

That’s what I’m saying. If you do nerve damage and therefore lose erectile function, that would be a fucking disaster.

That would be a huge disaster. It’s a big problem with the surgeries there. When I say surgeries, I’m talking about the enlargement surgeries. With the implant surgeries, I don’t know what the incidence is of causing nerve damage with those, but they’re not getting erections anyway. That’s why they’re having those things put in, whereas with the implants for enlargement, it’s particularly bad. They’re coming there, working fine, but just want it better.

How Long Do Penis Enlargement Fillers Last

How long does the size last until they lose their superpowers? How much does it cost to do such a thing?

The duration varies in individuals. We tell people it lasts an average of two years. The things that would determine how long it lasts are mostly genetics and metabolism.

It is how quickly it gets broken down, the extra material.

You break down the filler with an enzyme that’s naturally occurring in your body called hyaluronidase. Genetically, people have different levels of all kinds of enzymes in their bodies. It’s not something that we can necessarily measure. Doctors can measure certain enzymes in your body, but not dick filler enzymes. The research isn’t there yet to do that. They’ve got better things they’re working on.

Dick filler enzymes, we’re doing a big research.

In theory, it would be possible. We could say you have this gene and it gives you 1,000 times the level of the enzyme than this other person. You’re going to break it down fast. This other person is going to break it down slowly. All we can say is it’s an average of two years. That’s average. That doesn’t mean everyone has two years. Most people are within 18 to 30 months. There are also extreme outliers. I’m comfortable telling people about two years on average.

Let’s call it two years for the average term. When you say that time period, from day one, when they’ve done the procedure, it says 100%. Does it slowly deteriorate? At twelve months, it’s down to 60%. Does it go down linearly like that, or does it last and then drop off at the end? How does it break down?

It’s probably linear based on my understanding of the physiology. What happens is you get to a point where people start noticing the difference. Wherever that point is might vary in different people. For all I know, it could be that the filler is lasting five years, but people don’t notice it until eighteen months or something.

Is the general response from your patients to come in during that period for top-ups, or do they wait until it goes down to “The tank’s empty. I want a refill?”

It depends on the person.

What’s the general market? How do people respond on average?

It’s either someone who comes way sooner because they want it bigger. In a lot of guys, you don’t even know where you’re at because you gave it to them, and then they come back three months later for more. That’s because it’s like a tattoo addiction. If a guy has come four times over two years and it’s like a monster now, who knows where we’re at and how much of it is in there?

Some men get addicted to penis enlargement that they return to the clinic even if their fillers have not run out yet. Share on X

Is that what happens?

It happens all the time. The best analogy is tattoos. I would say it’s almost equally common that guys do that versus that they come back in two years, a year and a half, or whatever. Typically, when they come back, there’s still some there. It’s just clearly mostly gone. If a guy comes back two years later, it’s rare that it’s all gone, but they need more. It’s not the right amount anymore.

Does it get to a point where you have to say to the patient, “You’ve got to calm down, mate.”

Yes, I did that.

“This is too much. You get a balloon here.”

I had a guy. I was actually training another doctor who is a urologist. I had this patient come in. I’ve seen him lots of times. He’s got a full addiction to this. I was trying to train the urologist on how to do the procedure. The guy had so much filler that when we’re trying to inject filler, it comes out of another hole. You make two holes, and then you put it in. It comes out of the other one. There was literally zero space left to put any more material. I had to say, “There’s no one I like seeing more than you, but you have to take a break.”

When it gets to that, because you’re building girth, does it not start becoming almost round, almost like your penis has swallowed a baseball? Does it not start looking like that?

No, because you inject it circumferentially or you inject it lengthwise as well.

The head starts to look disproportionate.

Yes, that definitely happens. Typically, I don’t inject the head. One thing I see a lot is guys fixate on specific numbers. There’ll be like, “I want to get it to 7 inches.” I don’t know how they came up with that number.

That is 7 inches in circumference.

Around, yes. Whatever the number is, I’m 4 inches, and I want it to be 5.5 inches. Whatever the number is, it doesn’t matter. They do a number, and then they’ll keep coming back until they get to that number. Sometimes, it’s a ridiculous number. This particular guy was like, “You need to be 7 1/2 inches.” In his case, it was close, but not exactly there. He’s like, “No, I need it to be 7 1/2 inches.” It’s like, “You’re 7 3/8.” “No, it’s got to be 7 1/2 inches.”

How Penis Enlargement Works Based On Sexual Orientation Or Race

Are there any differences or demand-wise between either straight versus gay or different race types? You’re Caucasian, Asian, or Black. It’s across the board. It’s generic.

For the races, it’s pretty across the board. Especially in the United States, it’s fairly multicultural. The breakdown is probably close to what the actual breakdown of California is.

There’s no impact.

For straight or gay, when I started doing this, it has always been more straight than gay, because that’s the general population, more straight people out there than gay people. It used to be a higher percentage of gay compared to straight, if that makes any sense.

Which one, sorry?

What I’m trying to say is, as a percentage of the population, when I first started, it was a higher percentage of gay people coming to my clinic than the percentage in the general population. Does that make sense? I think I’m saying that right.

Absolutely. You’re saying that over time, it has become a little bit more generally accepted. Men in general are more curious about coming out, so it’s reflective of the population of everyone is doing it. There’s no distinction.

As it has gotten more popular, more guys know about it, and there’s no distinction anymore. I like gay guys the best because they’re happy to show all their friends and stuff like that, usually. Straight guys will typically be like, “I don’t want anyone to know about this. I don’t want anyone at work to find out or whatever.” It’s understandable, but it’s not good for referrals.

Not good for business. To the gay guy who comes in, you’re like, “Make sure you tell your friends.”

He’s like, “Don’t worry about that. They all know already.” In general, it’s pretty reflective of the general population.

How Much Does A Penis Enlargement Cost

That’s so funny. Let’s talk about numbers. Talk about the cash. Tell me the pricing. Give me the bad news.

All the good news is that your sex gets better. You can get as big a dick as you want.

Give me the bad news.

The bad news is, it starts at $4,000. The average person is around $6,000 or $7,000, and then the sky is the limit.

When you say the sky is the limit, there’s a maximum you could put in there. It’s based on the volume of filler that you’re using, I’m assuming.

Exactly, yes. In that sense, it’s pretty fair.

Material that is being used effectively.

There’s a menu. If you get this much, it’s that much. With a lot of cosmetic surgery, you come in, you give them your address and occupation, and the surgeon goes on Google Maps and finds out what your house looks like. That’s what the price becomes. Here, it’s per milliliter of filler. If you start bigger in the first place, then you need more to make a difference. I will use extreme examples here. If your starting size is 5 milliliters of penis, and I give you 2 milliliters, it’ll make you 50% bigger.

If your starting size is 1,000 milliliters of penis, and I give you 1 milliliter, it’s going to do nothing. In that way, that’s one variable. If you’re already starting huge, you need more to make a difference. The other variable is what your expectations or goals are. Some people come, and they say, “I want it pleasantly, a little bit bigger so that no one notices.” That might be $4,000. Some people say, like my patient I was telling you about, “I need to be 7 1/2 inches. I don’t care what it costs.”

How much does it cost for a guy like that?

This particular guy started big in the first place. He’s probably $17,000 or something like that.

For that first session to get him to that size that he wants?

No. In his case, he had to come multiple times. I’m giving you an aggregate number. To be clear for the readers, that’s not typical.

The $6,000 or $7,000 is the sweet spot in the middle.

Usually, guys come in, and I have these models. I’ll show them different sizes of cylinders so that people can get an idea of what a 1/2-inch difference looks like, what 1 inch is, and what 1 1/2 inches is. One inch is the sweet spot where you definitely notice. If I start at 4 inches and then I show you something that’s 4 1/2 inches, you’re like, “Yes, it looks a little bit bigger, but not that impressive.” If I show you something that’s 1 inch bigger, you’re like, “Yes, that’s definitely bigger.”

Getting an extra one inch during penis enlargement is the sweet spot. Share on X

Usually, that 1 inch is a sweet spot. We can do 1 1/2, 2 inches, or whatever. The higher you get, the more chance it’s not going to look natural, the main point being that your head size doesn’t grow the same. It’s more money, or you get the football player issue, where it’s actually too big. I have patients where it’s too big. It’s because we made them too big. The good thing is you can dissolve this filler, too.

If you want to reverse it?

You can reverse it.

You can inject the reversal serum as well.

Hyaluronidase is the enzyme. They make that enzyme commercially available. That’s one of the things that makes us safe. If you do have some complication, you just dissolve it. It would pretty much fix everything.

That’s pretty good. It’s like Wite-Out.

In that sense, there are a lot of ideal things about this.

Did Dr. Pash Ever Try Getting A Penis Enlargement?

Personal question. Have you ever tried it?

I have not had it done.

You never wanted to try to see what they experience, or you’re very happy with your penis?

If I spent $7,000 on my penis right now, my wife would probably kill me. It cost me money, too.

That’s brilliant. You got into the business. She said, “It’s a good business to get into. If you do it, I’ll kill you.”

We have a private school and a car payment. It’s different for everyone.

She’s very satisfied. She’s not asking you to go and make it big.

She’s not. She would probably rather I get her a purse or something.

That’s right.

I would better be prepared to get the purse and the $7,000 penis. Essentially, the penis is just for me. I would rather get the purse. I’m not being much of a good salesman.

I’ll ask another question. You got kids. Do you have boys?

I have one boy.

I’m going to fast-forward. Your one boy is 25 or 26 years old. He says, “Dad, I want you to give me the procedure.” Are you comfortable giving your son the procedure?

I’m comfortable with him getting it. I wouldn’t do it. It’s a weird thing to do medical treatments on your family. I will send them to my colleague.

In terms of your opinion on overall safety, the value-add, and the procedure, if he said, “I want it,” would you be okay with it?

Yes, I would send them to my partner. No problem. When I was 25, I probably would have gotten this done. My life was different back then.

Why do you think you would have gotten it?

It didn’t exist.

What makes sense? As you said, you’ve done close to 1,500 procedures here. You’ve seen a lot of penises. You’ve spoken to a lot of satisfied men. To wrap it all up, if you had to gauge what you take away from what you actually get out of it as a man, how does it speak to you if you had to summarize all those experiences? You’re seeing a lot of satisfaction from these men. They’re coming back for more. What do you think is at the core of it? Do they feel more manly?

People have different reasons for getting it done. If it’s a confidence thing, then now they have more confidence. If it’s a performance thing, now they have better performance, or to impress their wife or something like that.

You’re saying, overall, it’s ticking a lot of boxes for each of these men. They are walking away very satisfied, that’s what you’re saying.

There are a lot of things I would have done when I was 25, if they existed, that I don’t necessarily need to do right now. I’ll just add that to the list of things. An example is that I got invited to a Halloween party that was like a porn star party. I have very little utility in going to that party now, but when I was 25, I would have done anything to go to that party.

Answering Five Rapid-Fire Questions

Understood. Great penis chat. I enjoyed it. When I host my guests, I usually ask them five quickfire questions to finish off the show. I’m going to throw them at you. Who would you like to say sorry to, given the chance?

I don’t have a specific name, but let’s say nerdy kids in elementary school that we made fun of. Maybe I shouldn’t call them nerds now.

It’s totally fine.

You’re still a nerdy kid, but I’m sorry.

What are you proud of being or doing in your life?

Let’s go with this conversation. I built a fairly successful business. This has been a journey. I’m happy with what I’m doing.

It’s pretty amazing, four years. You’ve created a name for yourself in quite a large and growing space, so respect to you. It’s quite a short period of time. When you look at the space, your name is the one that pops up.

It helps to be an early adopter in the space.

Still, it’s only four years.

I work hard, for sure.

When did you receive kindness while needing it most and expecting at least?

I was in the hospital after surgery several years ago. It’s funny because people came to visit me. It’s like, “You came to visit me? I would never guess that in a million years.” Relatives don’t call you to see how you’re doing or whatever. You find out who your friends are when things like that happen.

What did your mother or father teach you that you frequently remind yourself of?

I feel like I have something good, but I’m not going to be able to think of it. What did they teach me? Be polite. Thank people for things. Respect people. Don’t say anything bad to someone. Don’t say anything that you wouldn’t want anyone else to hear, those kinds of things.

Old school.

Manners, don’t gossip, those kinds of things.

Finally, Dr. Pash, what’s your superpower besides growing penises?

As it pertains to both work and life in general, I’ve got a pretty good sense of humor. I’m good at talking to people and making people feel comfortable. I’m an anesthesiologist.

Bedside manner.

Yes, but a little more so than that. It works in friendships or relationships with people that you meet out and about, or in the hospital, or while doing a procedure on them. Just be able to make people comfortable and have a sense of humor and all that. Bedside manner makes it sound like I’m a guy in a white coat, and I run into you.

I say that because my uncle was a doctor. He was always known to have great bedside manner. When you’re a doctor, that’s how they describe a doctor.

I’m picturing him in a white coat, having a good bedside manner.

Episode Wrap-Up And Closing Words

Dr. Pash, thank you so much. I appreciate you doing what looks like great work. There are a lot of very happy men out there. It has been an incredible conversation to lift the kimono on the penis enlargement industry.

Thanks for having me. It was also good talking to you.

Thank you, mate.
